REVOLUTION — SHOP STANGE
brand identity design. brand collateral mocks.
brand identity system developed, during my time at Studio 165+, for a clothing store called Revolution.
Revolution is one of ShopStange's series of three family-run clothing stores located on the island of Sylt, Germany
and owned by the Stange family. the shops, Lepoint, Stange, and Revolution, were opened in 1986, 1996, and
2016 respectively. the family holds pride in the personable shopping experience and quality products
that they offer. the Stange family approached Studio 165+ seeking an identity for each of their
three stores that reflected the values of the family and their business.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
challenge — create an brand identity for Revolution (one of three family-run clothing stores) that reflects the values of the family and their business but depicts the characteristics and style of Revolutions' specific storefront and brand as an individual but part of a whole.
solution — used their name, unique type of clothing they sold along with the grunge culture references to inspire the logo design.
outcome — the identities for Lepoint, Stange, and Revolution were carefully designed to feature the characteristics that represent each of the stores. the identity for Revolution was inspired by the type of clothing sold and references grunge culture while still having a professional appearance.

THE SHOP STANGE COLLECTION
Below Bel
below you'll find the brand concept exploration our team underwent to curate a design that best
expressed the Revolution characteristics and shops' elements as an individual shop yet fit in
the Stange collection as a whole
the identities for Lepoint, Stange, and Revolution were carefully designed to feature
the characteristics that represent each of the stores individually, but yet as a whole.
the Lepoint identity draws on the fact that it was the first store opened by the family, with
the "1" incorporated into the "e" in Lepoint.
the Stange identity emphasizes the wooden architectural elements and rustic nature of the
store, while once again using the bars of the "e" to indicated that it was the second store opened.
the identity for Revolution was inspired by the type of clothing sold and references grunge
culture while stile keeping the professional appearance the others hold.
